Spring bookings-economy

How is the spring looking as far as workload? I'm wondering if we'll have as much demand as the last few years. So far it looks good, but I get nervous every February like the phone isn't going to ring enough when spring comes. Usually once it starts It rings with 10 or 12 potential jobs a day. we'll see...

I think the rumors of the economy's demise were greatly exaggerated...

We've got more worked lined up for this spring than we ever have, and we are just about to start advertising, too.

I'm estimating/planning for triple-digit growth for us this year.

Hello.

No sign what so ever of a economic slow down here. In the past week, I've already looked at 6 pools that were installed last fall. A good sign that the economy wasn't as bad as they said last year and a good sign for this year.

People are suggesting that if anything people are going to be doing more work on their homes now as a investment rather than the stock market. Don't know if this is true or not, but hope so.

One thing that cracks me up is some of the high end residential jobs. Have a job for a executive who works for lucent, and lucent is doing abosolutely horrible. Still, he's chugging right along on his 17 million dollar home. I think that no matter what happens with the economy, there's always someone out there with money still. Just a matter of finding them.
