Sprayer tip options

I am trying to get 25gal to cover atleast one acre for broadleaf apps.
http://www.nationwidewholesaledirect...84/1830178.htm This is an example of a setup. Would I be looking at change nozzles, pressure, both, or what.

As long as I apply the product amount per sqft. correctly, can I cut the carrier down to what I want, or is there a min amount of carrier that I must use. Let me know if I'm way off on this stuff.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Should work--if--you reduce the pressure to a low rate so as to apply about a half gallon per 1000 sqft.

All you need to do is adjust your ground speed. Practice with water until you get a complete tank to cover an acre.

The only way you will know what you need to do is calibrate, calibrate, calibrate.

There are really only two good ways to change your rate:
1) Speed
2) Tip size

You can change your rate some with pressure...but only small increments, and that is not a good idea.

Find a comfortable speed and then find the tip to match your speed best for your rate. Then adjust your pressure just to get the correct micron size/pattern.

If you are only spraying broadleaves I would go a lot lower then 25 gallon/ac.

If I were you and there isn't a lot of concern for drift...I would be down around 10-12 gallon/acre.

You will get awesome control and will be able to cover twice the acres with one tank!
