International......19" to 22.5"???
Found an International of interest but it has 19" wheels. I worried about clearance with the underbody boxes etc. Can I take the 22.5" wheels off of my wrecked International and bolt them on? I know the speedo will be off but that doesn't matter.
Both trucks are 4300 series and 2002 models. |

The thing you will have to watch for is the gearing. The truck is geared for low pro rubber you put 22.5s the gearing will end up too tall. I can't remember if the brakes are smaller on the 19.5 low pro.
Also check the axle ratings if they are 10-21 your good to go if the truck has 8-17,500 keep looking for a different truck. You are right about lack of ground clearance you will run into troubles with 19.5 low pro tires. Does this truck have a 466 ? Good Luck |

You would need to swap springs, gears, etc. Not worth the time. Low profiles international suck.
