Shurflo SRS-540 vs SRS-600

I know the 600 replaced the 540 but is the 540 still a good unit? I vaguely remember reading somewhere that there were a bunch of problems with the 540. Anyone have any experience with that unit?

Hi gregory ..... we never used the 540. But we sure like the SRS 600. PHS, you won't go wrong if you buy the 600. Maybe a fuse might blow on top of the battery or once in great while the pump might go bad. We often can go 3 weeks on a single battery charge! Ebay has 'em for $163 plus 17 bucks shipping. No tax either! They are awesome!
