Phone company does not care how many numbers you press after the 7th (or 10th for 10 digit dialing areas)

I totally agree. But until I'm able to get the truck that I want I have to make this one work for me. Thank for the input.

I don't know about there but in Jersey there is a law that says " If the vehicle is commercially registered it must display the name, origin (city) and phone # of the company and that each of these expressions shall not be less than 3 inches tall. It also must be displayed on each side of the truck" Now as I know this due to the harrASSing police around here. All of our trucks are lettered with 3' x 4' signs mounted on the sides of the dump body and our enclosed trailers are mobile billboards. The only truck with this problem is my personal truck (F250) which is lettered on the tailgate only (name of Co, phone and town) I only did this so I thought I was in compliance. Plus I live in a town that is small and there is a law on the books that says no commercial truck are allowed to park in a residential area. go figure???

I would letter the sides but then I would probably get fined by the town a I live in and told not to park the truck at home. I mean it only a F250 pickup not a Dumptruck full of rotting grass clippings. As of now I back the truck in the driveway so that it can't be seen. Sides of the truck is great but as i have been told by my neighbor a few houses away "if I can't see it then its not a problem, If I see it then its gotta go" Normally I would tell a guy like this to go f&*% himself but he's the councilman for our neighborhood.

Phone number on the back window is easyto see from far. No one can see the number on a tailgate when you have a trailer hooked up.
Looks nice though.

Landman,
What part of New Jersey do you live in?
In this New jersey you only need your name and location , no phone number is required( I would know I have 9 trucks and we get stopped at least once a month on the parkway by state Troopers) and ithe size only has to be 1". As for no commercial vechiles we can't park on the street over night but in your drivewayis ok ( I even park my0 tandom dump at home sometimes).
