starter fertilizer

assuming price is no object, materials being dirt cheap; what do you think of this?.. 15-26-9.

15% nitrate (from K-nitrate)
55% ammoniacal
25% methylene urea
5% urea...
N

MKP

SOP

greens grade

You think this would be a good patch starter?
$25/50#?

I have soil tests recommending 6#/M of P at seeding. What's the most P you put down at one time? I was thinking of 2 lbs/1000? I have one big customer that doesn't want to do anything other than aeration.

(M=per 1000 sq. ft.)

If you can buy that for $25,00 I'd buy all you can. I think most starters with high (P) are running in the $30.00 plus range. That is not taking into consideration the greens grade prill size which tends to be higher.

I think you will be able to get that in the mid to upper 30's. $46.50 seems a little steep even by todays price increases.
