Asv Questions

Just looking for some info on asv, I'm in the works of buying one and trading in my bobcat S185 and wanted some input. How does this machine do for snow clearing? How well does the ac unit work, it looks weird how it is set up a dumb design if you ask me. Has anyone used the sr-70 for loading a triaxle dump truck, how does it do compared to a vertical lift machine? Also how do the rollers and tracks stand up to gravel? I've heard the gravel can make a mess of things real quick. Any info is apreciated.

Best track machine for Snow, Do an ASV search on Youtube you will see.
AC works great, Does drip a bit, ok Alot. But I haven't had time to get it in to fix that.
Its a good set up, not stupid.
I have used my RC50 to load a mid side tandem, I think my PT80 would go over that a bit better. But I hardly ever load high side truck, only low.
The radial lift (As a grading machine) grades way better, Because as it lifts it doesnt bite as easy.
Depending on who you talk to. I have 700 Hrs on my RC50 and my tracks are in great shape and only my rear rollers are showing any wear. I use my machines in ALL materials. Dirt, Stone, Concrete, ALL MATERIALS!!

Hope this helps.

J.

Me too my SR-80 sees it all, I don't have A/C but like the new SR-80 A/C design - supposed to be the coldest and easiest to service on the market fwiw. The deal with ASV is they have been around for a while and the early machines were pretty crude, so when someone says I hear ASV's "blah blah blah", they could be talking about a very early machine - lot of rumors and breakfast shop BS in this business. I don't think people give any of the manufactures credit for the constant improvements made.
