The words I used were "may be"--not "maybe." It "may be" that he is the new owner. I will be glad if he is. I never set the length of the sale on this forum, so I will give it a few more days. I figured that when the bids dropped off, the highest is the winner. If I wanted to hold out for a $1,000 dollars though, it wouldn't matter to you, would it? You bailed out around $70. Enjoy the show.

I've run about 3 tanks of gas through the blower. It cost $200 new+tax. If it goes at his price, he will save $50 dollars over a new one. Not bad, I think. And, I find it hard to believe that it has dropped to a third of the new price in a few months. We're not talking about used chewing gum here!

Though the BG-65 is part of the Homescaper Series, it is described as a "heavy-duty consumer or light-duty professional model" on the Stihl site. I've found it to be very useful. It is not a Wal-mart Pull-on blower.

I'm not trying to be inflammatory here, but I don't see your point of posting on my thread where I am trying to sell a blower to give these opinions which could be damaging to my efforts to sell a good item and pay my bills.

I do appreciate morrischief17's offer and take it as a serious offer. I just want to be fair, and I think it is also wise for anyone making a sale to wait and see what happens, is it not?
No the bg 65 is only $149.99 the price is set by the manufacturer I just went through their site and it is that price at all 20 of the dealers that I clicked.

I can click more if you want.

That is why you got the language. Just be a good person and sell him the blower. By the way even though we played along because it was funny. This is not Ebay.

crook but I should have figured that with your username.

You don't get it do you?

I'm selling a BG-65, not a BG-55. Your links point to the BG-55, not the 65! If it were a BG-55, I would indeed be crooked or delusional. I am a good preacher who expects other people to be good also. I expect them to use their brains before they call someone out.

I didn't expect people to start bidding like it was eBay, but it was fun. I really expected PMs like I usually get. But, I am playing along and unless you are the forum owner or moderator who has authority here, I will continue until I deem it concluded.

That's what I call gittin' 'er Dunn.

You are right. That is what I get for assuming stihls site worked correctly.
This is how I got there following the link from this page http://stihlusa.com/blowers/BG65D.html

But when you do it changes to the BG-55

I apologize

But as the good preacger you are the lord would want you to give this guy the used blower for less then new.

You asked for best offer so let him purchase it. He offered a fair price for a used machine.

I hope there are no hard feelings. I definitely want to be fair in selling the item at a good price, and I believe that morrischief17 has made a good offer. I hope he is still interested. Anyway, I'm glad we resolved our communication difficulty here.

Morrischief17:

Again, thanks for your offer. Give me a call or respond to this post, and we will work out the details. I tried to PM you, but I think you have to have so many number of posts before people can send you PMs. It didn't work. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks, Tony
