Thanks, ya its a MS290, but its the only tool thats my dads, it works great though. I would like to get my own 290 next year

Ours has the 18inch blade, thats probably what I will get too. Its a nice saw because I can use it to just trim trees or cut some pretty big logs. Many of the stihl dealers I have talked to say its one of their most popular models

it is. says on their site. can do everything with it.

i should be cutting up a 30-40 inch tree with mine for some extra cash (security guard at work). and i also have 18 inch blade for mine too.

im gonna start looking for more chainsaw work. little more money and hate sitting at home really lol

ya I don't cut done to many trees, just smaller ones. I do cut up a good amount of fallen trees and sometimes trim up trees

i love doing both. just not cutting real close to houses (cutting whole tree down)
