redmax hedge trimmer hard starting

:blob3: need a little help have a redmax hedge trimmer which is very difficult to start, once i shoot some starter fluid in the carb fires right up and runs great, even if i shut it off and start it five minutes later it starts in one pull. to give you a little history i have changed the base gasket, piston and rings, and put a new gasket kit to see if this would cure the problem. the trimmer has spark, and i even readjusted the gap for the coil. mow im just miffed, im usually pretty good at finding the problem but to be honest i think i have tried everything. any advise would be great, thanks tony

Is your choke closing all the way? Sounds like it's the first cold start up problem? Do you use the primer bulb on these times of hard starting. Also check your fuel lines for holes. Let me know.
