Power Trac landscape tractors

Am thinking about purchasing a Power Trac tractor with accessories for my company here in Ohio. Does anybody have any experience with these machines? Please give feedback both good and especially the BAD!

I like them but get the diesel its alot more power and less to operate.
the aerator is great in hard packed soil,the lift does a great job on pulling shrubs up

I was very interested in possibly purchasing one of these tractors. 2 calls to the same person requesting some information - the 2nd call a repeat of the first one because of no reply. No response.

I gave up after that. Not worth my time.

I was interested at first because I heard good responses about their tractors but from what I've seen service is not that great - and that is only on the selling part.

Hi all I own a land track by long tractor it's a 300dtc I bought it new have about 100 hours on it. It has worked hard and has been great for me i'm a home owner with 6 acres and a horse farm plowed drive way moved loam removed trees and stumps and some large rock installed 50 feet of water line 4 feet down
very happy with unit

Well, I did a search on the Power Tracs within this site and got some interesting info. The people who have these units and have experience with them, love them. Looking forward to seeing the units myself, either at Louisville or at their shop.

we have had our PT-425 since 1999. this is the smallest model that power trac makes. we have approximately 16 attachments for it, and it is a great machine. the biggest drawback about it is that you can only buy your parts from them, unless it is a motor part that needs replacing.

as far as customer service goes, we have never had a problem even once. a part went bad while still under warranty, and they shipped it to us next day air.

when my boss visited the factory for a demonstration of a new attachment that they had, they went ahead and paid for the hotel he stayed in.

as time goes on, people are going to find that this is a great landscape utility machine. the main reason being that unlike a bobcat, it won't turf the grass when you turn.
