16" push mower restoration help

I just got this 16" Sensation commercial push mower. I think it's from the '70s. The engine still runs but it is not very reliable. I want to replace it with a commercial engine. Does anyone have any ideas of what engine wold fit this small deck? I don't think they make a 16" deck anymore so I am willing to put some money in this. The deck is cast aluminum and is in perfect condition. It has a 3 HP briggs on it that has been used a lot. Here are some pics.

I remember those machines back in the 80's. Pretty much a bulletproof commercial machine, they made those smaller mowers for cemetaries and other tight areas. I would also say to rebuild that Briggs motor. Cool to see old stuff like that.

Like others said, I would just rebuild the briggs. But if you wanted to replace the engine, northern tool has a decent selection. I would go with the Honda GXV160 for $350 but they also have briggs and tecumseh for $100-200.
