What Are Some Road Salt Resistant Trees?
I need some evergreen type trees for a roadline in NY. Any ideas on what can take the sand and salt thrown by the plows?

Frasier fir, balsam fir, leyland cypress, American holly, most junipers, white spruce, Austrian pine, Japanese white pine, Japanese black pine and yucca are all salt tolerant. Depending on the amount of road salt they endure, you may experience some burning, but most of these will not be killed.
