Go to Tractor Supply and buy the Diesel 911 stuff. It is both a conditioner and stabilizer. Yes, diesel will grow bacteria and give you issues, if you are going to store it over the winter you will need to treat it just like gas but with diesel conditioner vs. gas stabil.
