Mesh Mounted Flagstone
Has anybody out there worked with a product called mesh mounted flagstone? From what I have seen, it is flagstone cut into .5 to 1 inch thick slices mounted on a mesh backing. It can be installed over existing concrete walkways/patios etc. using thinset mortar, kind of like applying a veneer and then grouting the joints. It is available on the west coast but I have not found anyone using it or selling it back east.

I used the everlast stone a few times about four years ago after seeing it at a trade show. it looked great but after one winter several of the flagstones split horizontally and had to be glued back in place. it made me look bad for recommending it so I'll never use it again.
