Need Help Please!

I am about to purchase a used '05 Toro 44" Z-master with a Kaw 17hp....w/ 700hrs.

1) What sort of things should I be looking for ,,,or any obvious red flags I should notice before I buy?

2) Does Anyone have any feedback on this particular mower?

Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated!!

make sure that it was rugulary taken care of (oil changes, air filters, gas filters) make sure the blades are in good condition cause you dont want a mower that someone hit a bunch of rocks with

ya, pull the dip stick out and see how the oil looks, if its black and dirty then you know then don't change it that much. look at the air filter, tires, belts, blades also, just the overall appearance of the mower, clean, banged up. you'll be able to tell. fire up the mower, see how it runs....

I wouldn't pay over $3000 for the mower.
