Wanted: Kohler motor for John Deere LT 133

Hi,
Looking for a replacement motor/ or company that will rebuild mine before my hubby finds out!
The motor sounds as if it has "thrown" a rod, and the local dealer has quoted me $1,500.00 to replace it....
Thanks for any help or advice!

You could have a bent push rod or collapsed lifter. Might not be a rod.

You don't list a location. If you're near me I might be able to help.
