Getting pulled over by DOT

Have any of you ever gotten pulled over by the DOT? If so, what are typical charges.<br>I just transfered to enclosed trailers, and want to make sure everything is correct.<br>

Not the DOT, but a local cop stopped me, gave me a warning, said I needed to get commercial trailer plates not the gen purpose ones that were on it, says landscape equip is commercial. Price was the same, just the headache at DMV.<p>Bill
