Natural stone staircases.

Going through some of the old pics again. Here are a couple of stone staircases from about 6 years ago. The last one is from an asian style garden we did. I imported raw Tonkin bamboo from China, cut the pieces and tied them with the black jute twine in traditional knots. Fun but very time consuming.

Honesty, I can't remember. It was 6 years ago. I am sure it was too cheap though. We had a lot of tonage in stone.

The bamboo work is very neat..im sure it was very time consuming like you said with those knots. How sturdy or how well does that hold up?

The last set of stairs and the bamboo fence are absolutely beautiful.

Nice work, Tim.

We have a very dry climate here, so the bamboo will hold up probably as long as a cedar fence will. This was my first attempt at working with bamboo in this way. I basicly paid the homeowner to put it in with the time it took me to do this. After some research I have found prebuilt panels that make it much simpler and faster to do. Next time. Thanks for the nice comments guys.
