Essential Tools and Toys For Irrigators

Here ya go boys, the chance to finally list your equipment has arrived.

Feel free to also list the tools and toys you would like to acquire in the near future, as well as those you will not even consider.

This is not intended to be a chest-thumping thread ... so don't make it one.

521 & Pulsar as well.

Paperclip for cleaning out nozzles.

Bread for when you have to install a double check, and the city water line doesnt stop leaking. Dam up the service line with bread, solder on new line double check, and then blow bread out the double check.

Seriously this time:
521
Multimeter
Shovel
Valve activator

Future wants:
RM or Sidekick (I know, but I am a piker at heart)
Moisture sensor like F-M's Aquaterr (that was some cool $hit)
Walk-behind trencher

Essential Scheduling Tools
  1. Soil sampler
  2. Soil profiler
  3. Brown probe
  4. Soil moisture probe with GPS tracking (in lieu of catch cans)
  5. Soil temperature probe
  6. pH/EC meter
  7. Infiltrometer
  8. Penetrometer (brown probe works here if you don't need a value)
  9. Stop watch
  10. Camera
  11. Compass
  12. Measuring wheel
  13. Field computer

Now for the really anal scheduling stuff
  1. Soil moisture probe(s) with data logger
