What was up with the 06 21" proline's cut?
Cool. I just found this forum and was wondering why my 06 toro I had cut so bad? I eventually sold it because of the really bad cut. Then, in 08 I got a new toro and it cut much better. Was there any mods to the newer ones? What could have been wrong with the 06 one?
Thanks

Okay. Cool. All I've noticed is that the 06 22176 model I had never would cut right, the blade was fine rpms were checked and kickers were cleaned off before use. So I guess it's a defective mower maybe. The 07 model definitely cut much better and had the less powerful honda engine on it. Just a strange incident I thought toro would want to know about.

I can't imagine what engineer would think that blocking a major part of the the cutting chamber with the BBC mechanism would not effect cut and performance. This idea pretty much kills damp grass mulching IMO.
