What is better door hangers or Flyers? I am just trying to decide which would be better. Has anyone had more success with one or the other?

neither. network and use word of mouth. far more powerful. we would spend 4k a year on door fliers, not this year. spent a whole year building relationships, and it has paid off.

I do the networking thing also. What was your response from spending 4k a year? Were they fliers or door hangers?

Ive done the door hanger thangand the mag ads, and all. Ya know what the best has been? My enclosed trailer. Having that thing being seen all over town, people have started to really notice it. Door hangers got me one job. Direct mailers have got me nothing. Next is really hard networking! Thats the only way! Instead of spending that 5k+ per year on advertisements, use half that taking other contractors to lunch and meeting with everyone possible.
