I did the same with my encore wb. Bought it for $100 with a blown engine. Looked better then yours though haha. I watched craigslist for a year and a 14 hp kawi popped up. $200. 2 hours later the machine was running and mowing. $300 48" encore premier. Cant beat the fixer uppers. But i would never do that if it was a main machine. Main machines stay new.

I know at this point here in rochester if you can grab them do so, but I was just saying for safety reasons.. Good luck with the machine, post some pic's when its all painted..
