Garlic Oil for Ticks
Has anyone ever used garlic oil for ticks? I know it works pretty well for mosquitos. My dog is getting ticks every time she goes out in our backyard. This year is the worst I've seen here.
Thanks! |

Used it once. Did not work on ticks. For some things, use a scalpel. For others, a flame thrower. Ticks, you need a flame thrower. Use Sevin or Bifenthrin. Don't mess around with garlic oil, cedar oil, etc.

Ticks on dog
If you want something to use on the dog asap- Avon makes a great insect and tick repllent that is safe for use on kids that many vets have suggested use on dogs. I have a husky and he loves to hike so we spray him down and haven't had any problems with ticks, including all last summer.
