Estimating New Lawn Install - Your input is helpful!!

I will be installing 18 pallets of bermuda sod. Will install for $170/pallet=$3,060
Grading... I have little experience on pricing...maybe 6 man hrs.??? = $360

No grading has been done. I will also need to remove aprox. 15 cubic yards of mulch where trees have just been removed. I've budgeted for a roll off container ($350). The rest of the yard just needs to be scraped. I will be renting a skid ($350).

I will be adding topsoil, but am unsure of how deep to go...Is 1'' sufficient? Most of the soil is fairly decent, especially in the back and side yard...1'' depth would be around 22 yards of soil.

My Costs: $85/pallet x 18 = $1,530
$350 roll off container
$350 skid rental
$25/yard soil x 22 yards = $550
Total Job Cost: $2,780

What I will Charge:
Sod: $170/pallet x 18 = $3,060
Site Prep: $1,060 - covers roll off and skid rental
Soil Install: $770
Total Cost: $4,890

I make $2,110 - about$450 labor = $1,660 for 2 days work is on track for what I need to take in...Unless, I can go higher...??

Please let me know how you would make your numbers different and if I'm on the right track for this project.
