Yea it was a fun day. 2 days later i took the bass boat out with my father and we boated 9 keeper (i throw all fish back) size largemouth and over 30 pickeral by 11am. Here is the lunker of the day. 4lb 11ounce largemouth. Caught him on a spinner bait.

Blues fight better then stripers and are fun on light line. But for eating i agree! All those blues were thrown back.

The guy in the first pic looks abit like Tank Abbot.Looks to cold/windy for an enjoyable day for me to be out there.I prefer the blue skied days of calm summers.

Haaha yea thats me. Im a monster with a 21" neck haha. 6'3. My customers are all so nice to me for some reason hahaha.

trolling is boring. Its alot more fun to jig and feel the hit.

Jig for the small ones. Trollin for the big ones. Around here they come in at night around the tunnel. You get a big hit from the 8lb flounder. I keep the rod in my hands and not in the rod holder when trollin. Flounder are some of the best tasting fish in the Chesapeake Bay. Try catching a cobia.

Depends on the time of year. In the spring their chasing shad and thats why they end up the rivers. They do eat eels but prefer bait fish and squid. If you open up a striper and check the stomach contents you will see that 90% will have squid and baitfish in the belly. Our biggist stripers are caught on jigs in 30 -50' of water offshore where their feeding. Last friday we saw a boat fishing live eels and asked then how their doing on the radio. They boated no keepers. We boated 10 keepers and all limited out. I have done the night fishing trips and have not been as succesfull. But maybe they were off days.
