Wheel hub nut

Does anyone know the size of the rear wheel hub nut on the SuperZ 60? Trying to tear down the wheel motor that died but I don't have a socket that will fit this nut and before I go out and buy a socket I would like to know which size it is.

Be careful when you put it back on. You need to crimp the thread (or something, ask PJ) so it wont come off again on its own. Happened to me and ended up having to buy a new hub.

There is no thread crimping.
The nut needs to be torqued properly and it will be fine.

Pulled the nut off but for the life of me can not get the hub off the spindle. I am right by saying that the only thing holding the hub on is the nut? I know that the hub is pressed on, but I want to make sure that there is nothing else holding it on.

Will the hub come off leaving the lugs or will the lugs come off with the outer hub?

That isnt what happened to mine PJ. Nut came loose, was tightened and came loose again within a few mins. Damage to the key in the hub had already happened so had to replace the entire hub.
They crimped (for want of a better word) so it locked onto the threads better.

Perhaps a new nut is required each time one is removed?

The studs are part of the drum, so it will come off as a assembly.
You really should be using a puller that pulls from the studs, it will work better, also air tools help.
When reinstalling make sure to torque the hub nut to 295 ft lbs.

A new nut helps.
But you have to make sure its torqued to 295 ft lbs, that is the most important.

I pulled the motor off with the hub and will be taking it to a shop to have them separated today. Thanks for the help.
