I have been real busy lately. I apologize for not getting back to you on the mcculloch problem. I set it aside and decided to work on one just like it. It might just need a different carb. I installed a different carb on another one I was fixing and it fired up with no problems. I am thinking that the new carb I installed on the other saw might have a stuck needle valve. I will look into that problem later. I don't believe there are any air leaks. all the gaskets are good,everything is tight and has good compression. Thanks for the advise though.
