I'm Not Giving Up!

I was fortunate enough to get this advice when I was in the prime of my career. I'm going to keep shouting it from the moutain-tops! If you're not doing this - you're making a big mistake!

I'm giving you the direct link to this video - but it is very long so give it a chance to buffer. http://tiny.cc/BidRight

Great Logo

Mike I really like your logo - did you do it or did you have it done by a graphic designer? I can really see it jumping off of a t-shirt or your truck doors!

Nice video. I wish I would have known you folks were here. I dont measure and never have. But that makes sence. How would you go about measuring large properties. I've worked on many props like the resort your talkinf about. Alot of space but little real work. But on the prop's that are in the 3000 and up a month in just maint, seems like it would take all day to measure all that. I know when I measure for design you need every thing.

Yes, measuring larger properties can be time consuming. You can take someone with you to split up the property on large sites. Buy a foreman breakfast on a Sunday morning and knock it out. We are working on a relationship right now with goilawn. I just want to be sure it works well before endorsing it to our members but it seems real promising, especially for the larger properties.

Also when you measure, it's real important to develop time-saving techniques like measuring one thing and multiplying it by all the other similar measurements on the property. You really do get better and faster as you start doing it more often.

Happy New Year!
