Need Help with grasshopper ZTR mower

I have a grasshopper 220 mid-mount mower with a 20 hp Kohler engine. 52" mowing deck.

Can anyone help me with finding a cheaper transmission fluid than the $80.00 a gallon grasshopper fluid.

Grasshopper has introduced a new Hydr-Max fluid pt#345044. We sell it for $54.76 per gallon. Check with you local dealer. They should have it available to you now. Hope this is some help.

Use Mobil 1, 15w50. Same oil, but does not have some wear prevention additives that Grasshopper specs. in their own hydro fluid.
I like the Grasshopper brand myself and recommend it. When you look at cost, remember, you are only going to change it once every 5 or 6 years, most likely.
