Repair Help Lesco HPS Ride-On Spreader

I have a Lesco HPS Ride-On Spreader that loses propulsion after a few minutes of operation on wet turf. The problem is not in the motor. I suspect the belt drive needs to be tightened, but I have no idea how to do that. The unit has less than 50 hours of operation on it. Any ideas?

Is there a repair manual available for this unit? Any other sources for repair on this unit?

You may just need a new belt, they do stretch over time.

do a search on here,
myself and others have had similar troubles

they are notorious for premature tensioner pulley failure,
and the tensioner not being set tight enough from the factory

These machines corrode fast you must keep it clean and lubed. The idler arm (the piece that hold the pulley that keeps tension on the belt) make sure it moves freely. It will apear to be of until you try to move it by hand it should move back and forth.
