I'm looking at a 52" Toro with a 27 SP Command engine. Is this kholer's Command Pro? What does the SP stand for?

What is the model/spec of the engine? Never heard of SP.

Could be an SV which could be a Courage Pro V-twin. Wouldnt be a Command though. Basically a cheapened version of the Command V-twin with solid lifters.

SP is an Exmark/Toro designation and really means nothing. Do you have the spec number?

According to your serial number you have a CH740-0075. The CH740-3118 is a completely different engine. Anyway, to answer your original question. There is no difference between a Command Pro 27 and your SP27.
