Looking at the icann docs which have been put up since I was last looking at it, I see that the price is much steeper than they originally said.

I don't see where you get the cost for staff however, I manage dns and servers and this will be no different than any other sysadmin duties and won't require any special personnel. Managing a cluster of servers around the globe is not that big of deal these days and the types of companies that will be doing this already have the infrastructure in place so a big changes won't be required.

Also, they are doing a POC approval that cuts the cost down by $86k for non-established entities.
