Question about Clamshell hopper.

I'm just about to get started doing some leaf cleanup jobs, so I want to ask if any of you that use a clamshell style catcher have ever applied a coating or maybe even auto wax on the inside of the hopper?

While the paint is still in good shape on the inside of the hopper and most of the time the load will come out fine but occasionally when I really pack it tight before emptying, the debris will kind of stick in the hopper. I have wondered if maybe waxing the inside or applying something like Boeshield or something else might actually help make it slicker and protect the painted surface more also, since my hopper is a painted metal type anyway.

Any ideas, anyone? Thanks, Razorblades

Yeah I'd second the fluid film recommendation.

I sometimes have that problem with my triple bagger when I cram it too full. I have found it is quicker to empty a little early and go back for the final amount instead of trying to get it in one trip

So, should I spray it on and then wipe off the excess or just leave it as sprayed? I'm not familiar with the application process of Fluid Film.
