I hardly got to hunt this year, I did get a shot at a doe but my dam scope was off..

Thats what I get for not making sure its in before going out..

But I did run dogs quite a bit this year, I was always on the dog side so I didnt get alot of chances to shoot. I am more into just being there and getting other people deer than more so myself. I pushed a 9pt to my buddy that he hail mary shot at and killed. Set up another kid for his first kill.

I've more so been busy helping others than hunting for myself, which is fine with me. I enjoy it more anyways..

Oh yeah, almost forgot, went to Ohio for gun season. Didnt get a shot off in the 3 days I was there. But did see an awesome 8 from like 500 yards running right in front of my Dads stand while he stood beside me. Other than that 8pt, nothing but does. Had 11 come in at 30 yards but couldnt get a shot for all the trees..

I fish for a living, as a Captain on a private/charter sport fishing boat based in Key Largo Fl. Mainly we fish from the Bahamas and up and down the eastern sea board as for north as Main. Most of our fishing is done for Sailfish but also fish for Blue and White Marlin, Swordfish, Yellow fin tuna, Blue fin Tuna,Wahoo and Snapper on the reefs.
It is a great job but just like anything else after awhile it gets old. That's why in the spring I'm going to try to start a light excavation business in the Midwest with some mowing thrown in for cash flow. Still will fish Dec. through Apr. in Fl. for a couple years until the excavation thing gets off the ground.

hahah i am doing the exact opposite as you. I am burned out with construction and landscape work. I will be moving to Texas next year and start my own guide service. Maybe we can swap. hahha

I like fishing when I can catch something, but I NEVER catch anything unless its in the pond..
