Now around St Louis and Central IL were I lived for a couple of years Buffalo was real popular at the restaurants and a lot of people think it is Carp and try and eat the Carp they catch, then they find out they are not the same and Buffalo tastes a heck of a lot better than Carp.

yea, around here people will bow hunt them and throw them away. They are considered garbage. I personally dont like that unless they are a problem. I am uploading some more pics now.

yea, on champlain you can get into schools of 3lb smallies and put 50 on the boat. Man do they fight.

thats a long nose gar. Alligator gar are different. People do call them aligator but as far as i know thats incorrect.
