For money, style, and price I have to admit the Ford 2002-2006 5.4L are good. I am a Chevy fan but I have heard good things with the 5.4 engine except the early models where the there was an intake leak.

Chevy has the Vortec line and the 6.0 is the best for MPG and Power. My goal is to drop one in my truck since the body on mine is mint.

a 2500HD Chevy in the 02-07 range with the 6.0 would be the perfect truck for you.. Just my opinion..

Thats what Im finding out Junior as I look more and more. If this newer truck can hold up to half the abuse I put my little truck through now, Id be perfectly happy. I really like the dodges but too many of my friends have cummins and I just would not hear the end of it if I got a hemi.
