Tool for tracking pest/disease outbreaks locally

I put together a google map of pest reports from people around the country last summer at http://gardenobserver.com/report/map and am wondering what I can do to improve it and how to turn the reports into leads and new business.

Should I only allow people to submit certain types of pests and diseases or leave it wide open to anything?

What kind of info do people ask you when they're calling about a problem?
