When my BlackBerry still worked I had the myspace app, the word app, excel app I'm pretty sure, and the weather and internet. I had two Black Berry's. The first quit charging and the screen broke on the second one when I plugged it in. Now I'm on one of my old flip phones.

I use my blackberry curve 8530 for email and weather.

I have Verizon wireless and I use older Samsung flip phones that I buy off eBay for cheap since my phones get destroyed every 6-12 months.

I have considered a Blackberry...? Why would I need it? I do snow removal so the weather would be handy so I don't need to call my wife or friend to check the weather for me to make logistical decision?

I don't do twitter or facebook currently maybe I should....if I did it would be for business purposes only. Aside from my biz I prefer privacy. My website will be built over the winter.

What do I really need. How would it help me?

Accuweather, i heart radio (didn't like pandora personally), facebook, cnbc to check my stocks on the go, a few local newspapers, tivo app for BB, google sync (VERY BEST APP EVER!!!) backs up all your contact and calender info to your gmail account wirelessly! Learned hard way how importent it is to do that! High recomended.
If interested in getting it, just google search google sync from your phone and download it, you need to have gmail though

This winter I have become a big fan of Pandora.

Just wondering how this works with a Blackberry? Does this use up your standard airtime? How is the quality compared to a Mp3 player?

My wireless carrier is Verizon if that helps.

I've used it. I don't THINK it uses airtime, not sure. Its pretty good. I like iheart radio better though.

If you have a unlimited data plan you should be OK. The quality is near MP3 quality. Once in a while the data stream in interrupted but I really like Pandora better than other other streaming apps.

I have the storm...got the weather channel, red sox.com, ScoreMobile, Slacker Radio, Facebook and Google Maps on mine...I enjoy my blackberry, just not the bill.

Do you know if Google Sync will peacefully sync 2 phones with one Google calendar?
