yea- both GM and Ford HAD plans for a medium duty type diesel. Both companies shelved them when they hit the financial skids. I actually really liked the one Chevy was developing, as it could be deployed as a replacement in existing trucks. Alas the numnuts at guberment motors decided that they were going to loose market share to someone else.... looks like it gonna be Toyota.

Too bad that is a 2008 article and the timeline that they estimated has already passed. That means that it is probably delayed, indefinitely.
