I have a chevy 1 ton with 454 cu in. and i need a suggestion for a new carb.thanks,john

Depends upon what you want to do, remain stock?
In that case check out Jegs or Summit. Deals are offered all the time on remaned Q-jets and Holleys for truck applications all the time. www.jegs.com www.summit.com or talk to your local napa parts guy. Whatever you do, stay away from the remaned units available through Autojunk(read zone) and other 'discount' parts dealers.

I know where to find them .My question is what do i need to get besides what i have now.Any certain size?I don't want to raise my gas consumtion that much and anything close to stock will be fine.
