I don't own either but have seen both in action. I'd say Grandstand all the way. It functions well as a stand on or walk behind and has better cut quality. Not to mention it's cheaper. Toro's quality is nothing to scoff at. I feel like it's a no brainer. However, the age old question remains: which will give you better dealer support?

yes the stander that i demoed was the zk with 31.. i definitely need the heavy duty construction that i realized was with the stander. but the price is what im looking at..plus the warranty seemed nice with the toro... for the lower price i would be opt to get two grandstands and replace them when the warranty is up...but for the stander.. i think i would have a hard time getting rid of them when theyre paid off. the bigger we get the less i want to hire a shop maintenance man to keep them going

but for the record... the toro will cut better.. and the grandstands are under 900 pounds which will keep me on a 10ft trailer and 3k plate.. now if i go with the standers.. 2 standers wont fit on a 10 ft, trailer...and wont keep me under 3k,,, the dot wont mess with my guys if were set up the first way... once we get two axles and a plate bigger than 3k... they chk everything and make sure were all legit..which is fine..but im thinking preventative maint..on my company..,iit doesnt look good to be pulled over 1 a monthlol

I talked to the Exmark rep yesterday at the Columbus power show and he said the 60" Vantage will not be ready for about a year so I would assume the 60" Grandstand will not be ready either.

The 60 inch GS is in production now. The Vantage is not scheduled for release till late summer. Remember Toro gets first dibs since it's their product.

Well I guess the guy that works for Exmark is wrong, maybe you should go get a job with them since you seem to know what they are doing! If it was coming out late summer he for sure would not tell me a year from now, they usually come out late not 6 months early.

I don't know a whole lot about the Exmark, just guessing based on what my dealer told me. Toro's models are ready though. Like I said the parent co is getting the first dibs. I my not happen till next year since it took a whole year longer the get the vantage out. I know in my area I find the Toro cuts nicer so I wouldn't want the exmark. The Ultra cut I'm sure has some aps that it works better on.
