Isuzu fuel filter
I purchased a used 1999 Isuzu NPR this past fall and this is my first diesel so I have some basic questions. When you change the fuel filter do you have to bleed the fuel system? I got air in the system when I drained the water from the separator last fall and it wasn't running. That was apain. thanks Matt

Yes we change filters when the motor is warm prime {fill} the new one and when you start the engine rev it 15-1800 rpms it will stumble but should clean up and run. As for starting an unprimed fuel system we cheat and it works but I can't reccomend it for the inexperienced.

If you follow the above post, you dont have to prime the system.
