Heres is the latest addition to my equipment. I just picked up my trailer this morning. I originally had order a Lark Trailer and when I went to pick it up last week it was built to the wrong specs. The dealer offered to give me a discount for the wrong trailer but after looking over the trailer I thought the quality and craftsmanship were horrendous so I went to another dealer that day and purchased this 8.5x18 homesteader hercules series with the extended tongue. Over the next month I will work on the inside to get it ready for the season. I will post more picks of the inside once I start doing the work.

Sick trailer, from the pic it looks like a 16 foot.

How long does it take to prepare the trailer? like seal the wood in the trailer and like put shelf's and stuff?

Thank you!! Its looks smaller in the picture but up close you can see the differenece. The dealer I bought it from had a 16' there but for the little extra money I went with the bigger one.

Im not sure how long it will take. I looked into painting the inside already but was told I have to wait til the temp gets above 50 degrees in order for the paint to dry properly. I will let you know how long it took once I complete everything.

Ahhh, you can go ahead and paint just put some lil heaters in your trailer or get your shop nice and toasty...it'll take more time than you think to get it ready if you take your time and plan it out like you want. Bedliner the floor and good exterior paint on the walls, and go from there.

Where did you go to get the Lark trailer? What in particular did you notice that you didnt care for? How much did this trailer run ya?

I thought about getting a few space heaters to warm it up. Instead of a bed liner I am going to paint the floor grey and mix some sand in the paint so when it gets wet the floor isn't slippery.

I went to this place RAW in NJ. For starters the diamond plate did not bend around the front of the trailer like this one does. Also when I looked inside up at the roof you could see all the screws holding it down. The side door had a serious amount of silicon around it which ran a bit. I then looked at another trailer there and noticed it had rust coming from it.

With everything I wanted like 2 extra spare tires, a foot plate , pintle hook, a regular coupler to use with my tahoe, a rack em back back blower rack and NJ sales tax it ran me $6500.

I am primarily out of Wayne, but I do some work in Clifton as well as other surrounding areas.

Nice trailer, I hope to have an encosed someday so I don't have to unload and take up valuable garage space.

Just one question, Do you recall how much was the 16 footer?

Good looking trailer. Low's has a gray floor paint that has sand [or something ] mixed in it all ready, that's what i used.

nice trailer i justy ordered one myself. 8.5x18 ramp door and 2ft ext tounge and also went with the upgraded led lights
