snow blower

Im sure you hear this crap all the time so sorry first off. When I do snow removal, I will be in western New York. As dome of yu may know, its not uncommon to go to bed and wake up with 2 1/2 to 3 feet of snow. I am gonna need a good blower for walks and such. What should I be looking for to handle to big snow? Thanks in advance!
