Lowes deal!

My friend said there was a trimmer for 100 for 25. Getting it for a backup.

I know its garbage but for $25 you can't beat it!!!!

The only way I would buy that would be if all of my trimmers broke down on a saterday at 11:30am, and I still had a full schedule left to do. But I've got three trimmers to choose from, so chances are I wouldn't be buying it. But if I just needed it for a day or two until my trimmers were fixed, sure I'd buy it for $25 and then sell it once I got my regular trimmers back, and I'd sell it for $50 and make a little money off of it.

It's not bad. My old weedeater 2 stroke lasted me seven years with part time use, PLUS doing some lawn edging at over a dozen larger residences. I got my money's worth out of that sucker so I did.

Now that I bought a 4 stroke trimmer, I don't think I'll return to the 2 strokes. 2 strokes are becoming harder to find, and are almost as much money now that the emission laws have changed. Even CA State is adding cat converters to standard lawn mowers...geeze.

It was sold. I guess the box was damaged or came with no instructions that's the reason why it was that price at my local Lowes.

I still have my Husq 323 trimmer and love it.

I had the same type of opportunity to purchase a husqvarna stick edger at lowes in my town last year it was over 200 bucks and i picked it up for 75 because it didn't have a gas cap. the cute sales associate took a cap off of another one and put it on it for me and i took them up on the deal has worked great ever since....

I got a very similar deal at Lowes last year myself... They had a a cheapy homelite series back pack blower missing an air filter housing.. bought it for $29 dollars, the box was damaged and had no instructions...

Got it home, open the box and inbetween the bottom box flaps was the air filter housing, no screws though, so i used two short drywall screws and fired it up... Works great, gave it to my brother in law to do his small leaf piles in the fall, and he loves it.... Great deals at Lowes, I like to call them "idiot deals"... I think you can figure out why....
