I think that both Kawasaki and Kohler make good engines. However, My experience is with the Kawasaki's mainly. We have the 5hp models, the 12.5hp models, and one 15hpv-twin model. No problems with any of them over the years. Just keep the filters changed, the oil changed, and a good clean spark plug in them and they will run forever.<br>Can't go wrong with the Kawasaki's.<br>
