I wouldnt consider renting a dozer or scraper if you have no experience with them. Using them is more then moving from point a to b. Legally and safely make sure your atleast putting a pond in at 3:1 4:1 slope to your required depth. Younger I almost drowned in our cattle pond when I couldnt get traction on the sidewalls which my dad dug as a side project.
