Good Deal or Not? Liquid Fert - 2.5 gallon

Ok I was shopping at a local farm supply and ran across some X-Stend (Drexel Brand) 28-0-0 liquid nitrogen fertilizer. It was selling for $15 per 2.5 gallon jug.

I cannot find any information on Drexel's website about the product. I think the name has been discontinued. I have found alot of other brand names with the same ingredients so I have a good idea of application requirements but dont know about the cost.

N-Sure 28-0-0 is the same:
7.8% Urea Nitrogen
20.2% Water Soluble Nitrogen*
* 20.2% Slowly available nitrogen from ureatriazone
solution

So anyone know if this is a good deal or not?

Thanks to all.

So about 7 lbs nitrogen in the jug. Cost per pound nitrogen is about 2.14 plus tax. And if you bought urea bagged it would cost about .83 per pound.
Sure, go ahead, you have the advantage that it works fast--if it burns the grass you will know right away.

not the same...

Yeah, that's a good deal. Urea Triazone is some good stuff. something like that would usually go for about $30 or more per 2.5 gal. If the product is still good, stock up.
