wiring on trailer- best way with least connections..brakes on both axles?

I understand the brakes each need a wire for 'positive' and each needs to ground with other wire. I'm wondering..do I need 2 junction boxes about mid point and cehter of trailer- one for 4 grounds to go into and one coming out and going to front..then the same with the positive- so I'd only have two wires at tounge when wiring plug? and of course my light wires too. I heard best to keep all wires equal length? is it also better to run ground up front..or could I ground it inside junction box before taking it up to tounge? pic's,pic's please.

Let me draw you up a diagram of how I did my 16' trailer last month...Give me about 20 minutes and I'll show you what I did.

i ran 2 pwoer wires from the plug, one to each axle. for ground i tied each axle together and then grounded to a crossmember under the trailer.

Here you go...it's not to scale, but it should help. Any questions just ask. I spent about 10 hours wiring my trailer, so I know it pretty well.

thanks Tim!..appreciate it. I'm going to figure a way to get one big junction box..or couple smaller ones mounted to a cross member somewhere in central area. Thanks much on drawing. That will help alot.
